Web Development Guidlines
What is a Website?
Websites are tools required by most all organizations, large or small, in order to help them do what's important to them. Traditionally, websites have been online versions of company brochures-colorful displays of images, graphics, animations, and textual content. Websites that fall solely within this category have no "return value;" they are static and of no use to potential customers beyond providing information and contact methods. What is more, they create more liability than benefit for organizations since the costs of hosting are in many cases greater than the returns generated by the site.
